The American Wine School presents a vast array of wines, spirits and specialty beers for sampling in the Grand Tasting Pavilion and Belgian Beer Garden! Sample your favorite beverages, then stop by the Wine Cellar to purchase your new favorite brands! New this year - International Beer Fest enables you to sample some great brews from nearly 100 stellar breweries!

Tasting Passports are $15.00 each and include:

Six (6) tasting tickets to use for sampling or in the Tasting Theatre*
Wine tasting glass or collectable International Beer Fest tasting cup
Grand Tasting Passport to help guide you through various countries and delicious wines and beers

*Additional sampling tickets are available for purchase. Guests must be 21 or older to participate and must adhere to all State of Ohio Liquor Laws. Valid identification required. If you plan to purchase Tasting packages online in advance - please bring your printed ticket with valid identification to one of the conveniently located kiosks on-site in the Grand Tasting Pavilion. To expedite your experience, a special kiosk will be available for online ticket holders.

NEW! International Beer Fest joins the Fabulous Food Show this year. Previously held in May of 2011 and 2012, International Beer Fest quickly grew to become the ‘biggest beer fest in the Midwest.’ The opportunity to combine two stellar events in Cleveland, Ohio into a unique destination culinary arts experience of unprecedented magnitude was too good to pass up.

Prevalent features from International Beer Fest including the Real Ale Bar, Belgian Beer Garden, Brew U Stage and Meads & Ciders Pavilion have been integrated into the event. Upwards of 100 prominent breweries will be positioned geographically throughout designated International Pavilions. International Beer Fest now sits adjacent to wildly popular features such as the Grand Tasting Pavilion, Spirits Lounge & Chocolate Bar, containing hundreds of wines, spirits and chocolates on display for sipping and savoring. Alcohol sampling will be available throughout all scheduled event hours. Guests must be 21 or older to participate. Tasting passports are available for purchase online in advance or on-site.

The American Wine School: Founded by Marianne Frantz in 2002 offers a systematic approach to understanding wine. Whether you know a little or a lot about wine, the American Wine School can help you build your wine knowledge through a wide range of consumer classes, tutored tastings and special events. For the more serious wine student, the American Wine School offers an internationally recognized program of study through its affiliation with the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Guest lecturers at the school include noted wine makers, wine writers, visiting Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers.

Marianne Frantz: Certified Wine Educator, holds a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust of London and has also earned the Advanced Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Marianne is currently a candidate for both Master of Wine and Master Sommelier. In addition to teaching, Marianne has produced culinary events across the U.S. and France with the world's top chefs and wine makers.
