Anthony Romano


Anthony Romano was born in Medina and raised in Mentor, Ohio. After graduating from Mentor High School in 1990, he went on to attended The Culinary Institute of America, class of ’92. After CIA, Anthony began his career by working under Chef Ted Robinson at The Pier House Resort in Key West, Florida. After a successful run at the Pier House, Anthony and Chef Robinson went on to open Mercury Grill in D.C. and Celsius in Rehoboth Beach. Together, they cooked a vibrant blend of Californian, Pacific Rim, and Caribbean fare. This “New American” cuisine became the foundation of Anthony’s culinary style.
