Tasting Gardens

The American Wine School presents a vast array of wine and spirit sampling in the Tasting Gardens while International Beer Fest offers a flavor of their upcoming event with a sampling of beers in Taste of the Beer Fest. Sample your favorite wines and spirits then stop by the Wine Cellar to purchase your new favorite brands!

Tasting packages are $10.00 each and include: Six (6) tasting tickets, each good for sampling wine, beer or sprits or in the Cadillac Wine Theatre*, Schott Zwiesel crystal glass for sampling, Tasting Passport to help guide you through the Tasting Gardens.

Founded by Marianne Frantz in 2002, the American Wine School offers a systematic approach to understanding wine. Whether you know a little or a lot about wine, you can build your wine knowledge through a wide range of consumer classes, tutored tastings and special events. For the more serious wine student, there is also an internationally recognized program of study through its affiliation with the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Guest lecturers at the school include noted wine makers, wine writers, visiting Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers.

Marianne Frantz: Certified Wine Educator, holds a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust of London and has also earned the Advanced Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Marianne is currently a candidate for both Master of Wine and Master Sommelier. In addition to teaching, Marianne has produced culinary events across the U.S. and France with the world's top chefs and wine makers.

The largest showcase & competition of world beers in the Midwest returns to Cleveland's I-X Center May 11&12, 2012. Choose from three sessions, featuring tastings from upwards of 800 beers offered by over 200 breweries in one location.
