Tickets On Sale July 19 for the Fifth Anniversary
of the Fabulous Food Show
(Cleveland, OH) The Fifth Anniversary of the Fabulous Food Show, the premier culinary event of the year, will be held November 12-14, 2010 at the I-X Center. Make plans now to buy tickets starting Monday, July 19 featuring the following chefs: Giada De Laurentiis, Guy Fieri, Alton Brown or Cleveland’s favorite, Michael Symon. The ticket includes admission to exhibits and one chef show, more than 225 exhibiting companies, the Main Kitchen Theatre and Culinary Celebration Theatre, Grand Tasting Pavilion, Sweet Street and 100 ongoing demonstrations on six different stages. The ticket also allows patrons to see other celebrity chefs on the day of the visit -- on a first-come, first-served basis. Cleveland By Hand, a juried fine art festival, runs in conjunction with the Fabulous Food Show and is FREE to all attendees.
The line up this year includes a few celebrity chefs coming back by popular demand for more energy-packed informational shows in the Sub-Zero Wolf Main Kitchen Theatre. This 2,000 seat theatre allows patrons to experience numerous daily demonstrations filled with tons of cooking tips and high-action presentations from great Food Network talent : Giada De Laurentiis, host of the daytime cooking show Everyday Italian, and her primetime show, Giada’s Weekend Getaways, Guy Fieri, host of some of the top-rated shows: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Ultimate Recipe Showdown and Guy’s Big Bite, and Alton Brown, host of Good Eats and a commentator on the new series Iron Chef America and Cleveland’s own, Michael Symon is back with his lively and informative demonstrations. Symon is an Iron Chef on Food Network's hit series Iron Chef America and returns on a new show on a new network, Cook Like An Iron Chef on The Cooking Channel, which premieres in July.
“We conduct surveys each year at the show asking our patrons what chefs they want to see next year at the Fabulous Food Show,” said Eric German, executive show director. “All of the chefs we have lined up for this year were the top suggestions from our patron surveys – we were lucky enough to secure all of them for this year. We are excited to be one of the few shows in the country that offer this much live culinary talent in one weekend.”
In addition to seeing a live chef show with your favorite celebrity chef, there are numerous highlights at the show including: the Culinary Celebration Theatre, presented by Giant Eagle, a 400 seat theatre, featuring tons of NEW talent both regionally and internationally. Many other top-ranked culinary professionals from Cleveland and around the country will be showcasing their talents in 30-minute demonstrations.
After you see your favorite chef, stop over to the Celebrity Autograph Pavilion and get their autograph! A Book Store will also be on-site with all celebrity chef books for sale.
Stop by the Taste of the Neighborhood Stage, presented by The Plain Dealer featuring the culinary exploits of Cleveland’s top chefs.
Attendees with a sweet tooth will spend a lot of time at the Sweet Street featuring various demonstrations on stage from regional chocolate experts. In addition to the stage demonstrations there will be three interactive demo areas featuring make it and take it chocolates and confections. You will also enjoy live demonstrations from candy makers and chocolatiers.
The American Wine School will assemble more than 300 wines, spirits and specialty beers for sampling in the Grand Tasting Pavilion and conduct informative daily seminars in the Wine Theatre.
