Fabulous Food Show Supports
Eating Well and Eating Local
(Cleveland, OH) The fourth annual Fabulous Food Show, presented by Time Warner Cable, the premier culinary event of the year, will be held November 13-15, 2009 at the I-X Center. NEW this year on Friday, November 13 ONLY join North Union Farmers Markets as they present: Eat Well, Eat Local – Cooking Demonstrations at the Culinary Celebration Theatre. Along with each demonstration there will be time for questions/answers sessions.
10:30am Coffee Tasting - Ann Denton of Red Cedar Coffee Company will sample locally roasted Fair Trade Certified coffees.
11:00am -- Starting a Business in the Field – Grow Food, Make Food, Sell Food - How to be sustainable and profitable.
12:00pm Cowpooling – And other ways to Eat well, Eat local and Eat for less.
12:30pm -- Heirloom Poultry for the Holidays – Chef Ben Bebenroth in
conjunction with American Livestock Breed Conservancy will showcase available breeds and demo several preparation techniques for the holidays.

“Local farmers, producers and food artisans will have their products on display and for sale on Friday only,” said Eric German, executive show director. “We want to offer our patrons demonstrations on living and eating better, while also supporting neighboring farmers and buying locally. It really is a win-win situation.”
North Union Farmers Market operates nine farmer’s markets in the Greater Cleveland area. NUFM champions the local food of Northeast Ohio and promotes their environmental, economic and health benefits by connecting certified producers with consumers through a network of markets.
