Bobby Deen is a cook, businessman, author and co-owner/operator of the world famous restaurant, The Lady & Sons, in Savannah, Georgia.
Robert (Bobby) Deen was born to parents Paula and Jimmy Deen born April 28, 1970 in Albany, Georgia, USA.
Bobby was raised, with bother Jamie Deen, in Albany and relocated to Savannah, GA in the late 1980’s.
Bobby, along with Jamie, helped their mother, Paula Deen, operate a small catering business called The Bag Lady in June of 1989.
As success of The Bag Lady grew, the Deens opened up their first restaurant in Savannah, The Lady, which they operated from 1991-1995.
Outgrown the small space of The Lady, together with mother and brother, Bobby Deen opened The Lady & Sons restaurant in January, 1996 at 311West Congress Street in beautiful downtown Savannah, GA.
The award winning restaurant, The Lady & Sons, had outgrown the quaint 85 seat restaurant and was relocated to 102 West Congress Street in November 2003, where it thrives today and serves over 500,000 guests a year.
Bobby hosted a popular travel/food show on the Food Network, Road Tasted, with his brother Jamie Deen, filming 19 shows during 2006 and 2007.
The Deen Bros. second cookbook The Deen Bros. – Y’all Come Eat, which also reached the best selling list in many categories, was released April, 2008.
